Petra just finished her EVS in EDRA...
She reports:
"It's YOU who make your EVS"
When I was doing an internship during University in Portugal my
coordinator told me "it's you who make your internship" , meaning that
I will have my daily tasks, but I am also free to propose my own ideas, some
will not make any sense but others maybe will.
I took her
advice during my internship and it was the best thing that I could have done.
Today I still follow it in my life and during my EVS experience in EDRA this it
wasn't an exception.
EDRA was open to listen all my ideas, some better than
others, and now after end my project I look back and I can see result of my
ideas: the cooking workshops program that I did for many months at the day care
center, the meetings in the apartment giving personalized recommendations about
nutrition, the educational materials prepared and even a lecture with EDRA’s
staff.
I know that this was only possible because I wanted to make something
different and EDRA was open to give me this opportunity.
You can also make your
EVS project an experience more in accordance with your skills, hobbies or field
of studies ...because it's YOU who make your EVS!
